CTR Career Counseling was established by Mary Ann Durkin-Cordiano to assist individuals in navigating the complexities of career matters.  After spending more than 15 years in the field of Human Resources and Recruitment, Mary Ann is now utilizing that invaluable experience to advise others.  She has counseled numerous individuals on career matters ranging from career changes to resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, networking, marketing techniques, negotiating offers, etc.  Mary Ann's experience includes working with such prominent companies as ESPN, Coach, Mary Kay Inc, OMD Media, and Digitas among others.  Her work spans a variety of industries and throughout many cities - New York, Atlanta, Boston, Phoenix and Chicago.  Mary Ann has been asked to speak at such renowned institutions as University of Notre Dame and Baruch College.

She holds a Bachelors degree from Fairfield University and an MBA degree from Georgia State University.  Mary Ann has a certification to administer and interpret the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).  She is also a Certified Professional Resume Writer.

Her professional memberships include the International Coach Federation, Society for Human Resources Management, and Professional Association of Resume Writers.  Mary Ann has volunteered for such organizations as Jesuit Volunteer Corps, New York Cares and Chicago Insight.
